DPS CHAS students EXCEL in NTSE

 

Three DPS Chas Students excel at National Talent Search Exam.

Chas (Jharkhand) : Three students of DPS Chas in Bokaro District in Jharkhand have brought laurels to their alma mater by qualifying for the Stage 2 of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2019 whose results were published on May 5, 2020, evening. The three students who excelled at NTSE fetching high ranking are : Rahul Raj Baskey (rank 17th), Ayush Murmu and Niraj Marandi (both ranked 21st) in stage 1.

NTSE is a National level scholarship programme in India to identify and nurture talented students. It honours and helps talented students by providing financial assistance in the form of a monthly scholarship for the entire academic career Class X students.

Students of DPS Chas, established three years back, appeared for first time at the meritorious national examination and created a place of pride for the school in the map of educational world. The students expressed their gratitude to the teachers and spoke of the individual care and guidance they received under the stewardship of Dr Hemlata S Mohan, the Chief Mentor of DPS Chas.

The school believes in providing holistic education through exposure and teaching in the field of co-scholastics. While Niraj is exceptionally talented as a dancer, Ayush Murmu plays the guitar, both are flautists and enjoy creating rhythm and melody through the flutes. Another brilliant aspect of the performance of the three boys is they have been hosteliers and highlighted the fact that their stay in the meticulously planned and designed life at hostel have helped them excel at such prestigious examination

Dr Hemlata S Mohan expressed her satisfaction over the performance of the students and blessed them for their future endeavours. She also acknowledged the diligence of the teachers and the support of the parent in moulding the students.
